Chart notes
SARATOGA KAREN was forwardly placed, dueled shortly with an inner rival then gained command in late backstretch, was in a hard drive coming into the lane and was able to hold on for the win. MS. MORENA was in a steady drive while three wide then menaced on the turn and continued to close strongly down the stretch but hung in the end and was second best. VENUS ISLAND was unhurried early then came out four wide on the turn, angled in to the two path to bid down the stretch but was no threat. CONTEMPO GRAY prompted the pace early then was headed in late back stretch, was in a hard drive on the turn, was used up and weakened in the stretch. FLYINGJ CUPCAKE bobbled slightly at the start then was out run and failed to rally.
