Chart notes
HURRICANE TIZWAY took a brief early lead then vied for the lead from the two path and dueled outside of FOLLOW THE SAINT around the turn and drew clear in upper stretch to prove best. FIRSTSLATE tracked the leaders from the three path and angled out in upper stretch to close willingly for place. FOLLOW THE SAINT was hustled inside to take the lead and dueled inside of HURRICANE TIZWAY around the turn and weakened. HAVE I EVER was close up in the two path but not a factor. AIRBORNE GAL raced wide throughout and was empty in the drive. LEUDEAL was last away made a mild bid in the stretch to improve position. LUCK IS FICKLE chased the leaders from the three path but was not a threat.
