Chart notes
SONG SAVER was intimidated nearing the five eighths and came in and bumped with SUGAR SMILE nearing the five eighths marker, moved to the outside and made a four wide move on the turn to take over, kicked clear by the furlong marker and then maintained a safe margin to the wire to prove best, driving. SUGAR SMILE was bumped and forced into the rail nearing the five eighths marker, then moved up between rivals entering the turn, came four wide into the drive to be in contention, then finished willingly but could not get to the winner while being second best. MS STRONG HEART was bumped at the start, dueled for the lead on the outside, made a bid to lead on the turn and move down to the inside, was headed nearing the quarter pole, then kept on to the wire, bested rest. ANIPPE dueled for the lead between horses early, weakened. MISCHIEF MELODY pressed the pace on the inside by the half mile marker, checked leaving the three eighths and stopped. THE JOCKEY ON SUGAR SMILE CLAIMED FOUL AGAINST SONG SAVER FOR INTERFERENCE NEARING THE FIVE EIGHTHS MARKER, AFTER THE STEWARDS REVIEWED THE REPLAYS THEY DISQUALIFIED SONG SAVER FROM FIRST AND PLACED HER SECOND FOR INTERFERENCE.
