Chart notes
HOT CAROL gave early chase toward the inside, eased outward approaching the head of the lane, dug in for the lead past the eighth pole and held on well. DIAL ME MAYBE gave chase outside, rounded the turn about the five path, left the turn widest, took second mid-stretch and finished evenly. HOLIDAY CONNECTION exchanged contact with Lunar Notion leaving the gate, gave chase inside through the backstretch, raced near the rail on the turn and came along for third mid-stretch. HANNAHS RED RUBY chased through the backstretch, rounded the turn about the four path, altered course in the upper stretch and finished evenly. QUEEN OF KANTHAROS exchanged contact with Holiday Connection leaving the gate then hustled up and set a clear pace, was caught past the eighth pole and gave way in the lane. LUNAR NOTION chased off the rail, raced close through the turn but weakened inside the eighth pole.
