Chart notes
PRESS SNOOZE tracked the pace, saved ground through the turns, angled out to bid outside the leader into the stretch, then made a steady gain and drove clear late. ROUGH NIGHT sprinted to a clear lead soon after the start, held sway without challenge to the final yards, then was no match and held the place safe. GOODIE GOOMER allowed to settle, moved up on the two path through the second turn, angled out three wide into the stretch, then angled out further under left hand urging, closed fast late to edged up for the show. STRIKE THE TOP mid pack, looped up four wide through the second turn, angled widest into the stretch, made a steady gain and edged up for a share. TRAVELLER well placed and outside, held position three wide through the second turn, bid on that path into the lane, then weakened late and missed a share. TEMPLET unhurried in the early going, moved up three and four wide through the second turn, came four wide into the stretch and evened out. LIGHTNING CHARLIE stalked the pace on the outside, held position on the two path through the second turn, bid three wide into the stretch and faded late. ON BASE was no factor.
