Chart notes
COULTHARD (IRE) got bumped and crowded at the start, raced outside a rival near at the back, came four wide into the stretch, rallied five deep and outclosed LANE WAY in the closing moments. LANE WAY was off a bit slow, steered to the inside, tipped three wide around the bend, rallied between then angled inside the leader in deep stretch, finished gamely but got outclosed by the winner. YES HE CAN vied four deep early, three deep around the turn, showed the way three wide into the stretch, led clear into the final furlong but got run down from both sides late. COMMANDER (FR) bumped leaving the gate, settled off the pace, went three wide into the turn, angled out and came five wide into the stretch and finished willingly to close the gap while earning a minor award. CHASIN MUNNY vied for the lead from inside early, chased the leaders into and around the turn, tipped out in upper stretch but checked off heels at the eighth pole and was ridden out to the wire. TEXAS WEDGE stalked the top quarter up the backstretch, went two wide into the turn then was guided out and entered the lane four wide, put in mild bid in the stretch but faltered in the final sixteenth. WHOOPING JAY vied for the lead between early, fought with outside pair from the rail position around the bend, stayed on to the midstretch and weakened. COTOPAXI (IRE) brushed leaving the gate, vied three deep then between rivals on the turn, lost contact leaving the bend, got crowded between foes in upper stretch and weakened.
