AMERICAN THEOREM stalked from outside early on, bid five deep around the bend, took over past the quarter pole, had the rider lose the whip while kicking clear at the top of the stretch and held safely under hand urging. GET HER NUMBER broke a bit slow from outside, gained while wide through the turn, entered the stretch four to five wide, finished well through the lane and was clearly second best. LETSGETLUCKY chased from off the rail under coaxing, bid four deep on the turn, got bumped from inside at the eight pole and stayed on to hold the show. SHAAZ broke a bit slow then went up to duel from inside, vied along the rail through the turn, then flattened in the late stages. PRINCIPE CARLO broke a step slow, went up to press from outside while in hand, vied three deep around the bend, bumped with rival at the eighth pole and weakened. DRAIN THE CLOCK stumbled leaving the gate but recovered quickly to take the lead, challenged from inside by SHAAZ and dueled into the turn, vied between runners and regained the lead with five-sixteenths remaining, was overtaken with a quarter mile remaining and weakened down the lane. DIAMOND OOPS sat off the pace, went three deep into the turn, moved out and entered the lane four to five wide and could not summon the needed response. BAGBOSS was off a bit slow, chased on the inside then angled out leaving the bend and could not rally. HOWBEIT chased off the rail, got put in tight on the turn, came out into the stretch and room between a pair of runners at the top of the stretch, moved outside and had little left for the drive.
