Chart notes
TRACK SMART sprinted to the lead from the inside and cleared the field at the three furlong pole and was kept to task in the drive. FIRST ALTERNATE tracked the leaders from the three path on the backstretch dropped in at the quarter pole to make a rail bid in upper stretch to be second best. ITSALLINTHENOTES vied for the lead from the two path through the turn then drifted out slightly in mid stretch and couldn't hold off in the inside rival but stayed on for the show. MISS IMPORTANT trailed through the turn then made a late inside rally while closing the fastest. HIGHTAILING raced near the back, raced four to five wide throughout but improved position. STUNTING chased the leaders from the inside around the turn then steadied at the quarter pole when FIRST ALTERNATE dropped in, made a rebid in upper stretch from three to four wide and weakened in the final furlong. CELEE'S LAST TE was close up in the three path through the turn and gave way at the eighth pole. STEWARDS INQUIRY ALONG WITH A JOCKEY AND TRAINER OBJECTION OF STUNTING CLAIMED FOUL AGAINST FIRST ALTERNATE AT THE QUARTER POLE, AFTER A REVIEW FIRST ALTERNATE WAS DISQUALIFIED FROM SECOND TO SIXTH FOR INTERFERENCE CAUSING STUNTING TO BE TAKEN UP AND LOSING ACTION AT THE QUARTER POLE.
