Chart notes
FRONTLINER stalked the pace into the stretch, rallied late three wide and was along in time. BIG TRIP away alertly, set the early pace under pressure in the two path, was headed ion the turn and fought gamely for second between rivals. JOHNNY U pressed the early pace along the rail, slipped through to make the lead before a half, maintained a narrow advantage until deep stretch then was outfinished. PRETTY STORMY failed to menace. CHAMPIONSHIP ALLEY with the second flight between horses, steadied entering the turn then faded. COTTON JIM with the second flight inside, drifted out to the middle of the racetrack through the stretch and tired. SMOKIN HOT ENERGY trailed.
