Chart notes
CROOKED FINGER RAY saved ground setting the pace and maintained a safe advantage. SIR DEPUTY saved ground stalking the pace, angled out for room nearing the three-sixteenths pole and finished strongly while being unable to reach the winner. SIX BLESSINGS was allowed to settle in stride, came four-wide into the stretch and finished in a mild rally. WESTERN RULE unhurried early, rallied three-wide into the stretch, angled in during the drive and gained some ground late. R B EYE checked shortly after the start, the dropped back while saving ground, angled out nearing the three-sixteenths pole and gained his best stride too late. MAMACALLMEBOO was prominent early while racing three-wide and weakened during the drive. BOURBONWITHATWIST prompted the pace for a half mile while racing two-wide and tired.
