Chart notes
KARAMEL CORN pressed the pace along the rail, dropped back on the second turn, came on again to make the lead in deep stretch and drew clear under strong handling. MONSTER HUNTER with the second flight four wide, loomed boldly in upper stretch and gamely gained second. DYNAMIC REACH trailed for nearly six furlongs, swung wide and closed ground late in the middle of the racetrack. POWERFUL PHIL set a pressured pace along the inside until deep stretch, drifted to the five path and weakened. SEASONS END failed to menace. RED HOT POWER chased the pace three wide, loomed boldly two wide nearing the top of the stretch then came up empty. WESTERN HOPE was through after a half.
