Chart notes
CALL ME PLUCKY stalked the pace from the outside, moved up while hard ridden through the far tun, raced four to five wide in the stretch run and finished well to get up under strong encouragement. BOURBON CURRENCY showed good early speed to set the early pace, was headed near the eighth pole, dug in and kept on gamely to the wire. BOB MARCO tracked the leader while racing just off the inside, challenged the leader for the lead entering the far turn and finished willingly to the wire. BENNY HAVENS stalked the pace from the inside, continued its run while racing near the inside at the quarter pole, shifted four wide in the stretch run and had not enough for the top trio. DADDY'S COZY settled off the early pace along the inside, raced four to five wide in the drive and had no final winning bid. JOHNG was unhurried early, angled six wide through the upper stretch to race from the outside and had not enough in the drive. BELTWAY BOB was unhurried in the early stages, raced four wide through the upper stretch and had no late response. FERMAT dropped back off the early going and failed to respond.
