Chart notes
MAYHEM AND CHAOS was allowed to settle three to four wide, made a four wide move nearing the quarter pole, took over leaving the turn and drew clear to prove best under a drive. MILEYS BLUECAT was with the pace between horses entering the backstretch, then tracked the pace, was two wide on the turn and blocked by the quarter pole, then made a two wide bid leaving the turn and finished willingly but was no match for the winner, second best. AKASI was away alertly and vied for the lead early on the inside, then was shuffled back on the backstretch, then awaited room leaving the quarter pole, then needed more on the inside, bested rest. NORTHERN BLEND vied for the lead three wide early, then dueled for the lead on the inside, drifted out leaving the turn and weakened. J C EXPRESS made a four wide middle move to go up and duel for the lead three wide on the backstretch, then was bumped leaving the turn and weakened. C JAXON was allowed to settle early, then was wide on the turn and was empty. THERE WAS A STEWARDS INQUIRY INTO THE RUNNING OF THE RACE, AFTER REVIEW THE STEWARDS DISQUALFIED NORTHERN BEND FROM FOURTH AND PLACED HIM FIFTH.
