HE IS READY unhurried early, rated on the two path through the turn, swung three and four wide into the stretch, made a steady gain and edged up for the place. AGGRANDIZE well placed, gained a striking position three wide through the turn, bid on that path into the lane, gained a short lead late, then was no match and held the show. ROGERS GINGER set the pace on the outside, stayed on when challenged into the stretch, then weakened late and held a share. GOVERNOR ATWOOD passed a tiring rival. SPIRITED DEBATE vied for the early lead inside and faded through the turn.
