Chart notes
PEACH STREET pushed in at the start, moved up three wide through the turn, bid on that path into the lane, made a steady gain and drew off under mild urging. MEAT SWEATS vied for the early lead on the inside, gained a short lead into the stretch, then was no match for the winner and held the place. STONE OVEN BAKER well placed and outside, held position on the two path through the turn, came three wide into the stretch and evened out. MR. JEKYLL improved his position, inside. GOOSE HUNTER broke in pushing a rival in at the start, sprinted up to set the pace off the rail, then faded into the stretch. HOLD THE WARRIOR was never involved.
