Chart notes
HENDRICKSON tracked the pace back, saved ground through the turns, angled out to bid outside the leader into the stretch, then made a steady gain, drew off and was kept to the task. DAWGMENTALITY set the pace inside, shook clear through the second turn, then was no match for the winner the final furlong and held the place. DECEITFUL rated back inside in the early going, saved ground through the second turn, came through inside of rivals into the stretch, angled out, then could not gain on the top two and held the show. SWELTER well placed outside, held position two and three wide through the second turn, came three wide into the stretch and had no rally. DR. HYDE mid pack, moved up three and four wide through the second turn, came four wide into the stretch and weakened. SLIPPERY WHEN WET passed a tiring rival. ALWAYS THERE rated outside the leader, faded through the second turn.
