DEL MAR SUMMER set a pressured pace from the inside, drifted out approaching the stretch, responded when challenged by ONE MARK and gamely held off that rival to the wire. ONE MARK was away in good order to stalk the pace of the winner while racing four-wide, moved up to engage that foe nearing the three-sixteenths pole but could not get by through a prolonged drive. ATTILIANNO was reserved just off the leaders early, moved three-wide through the turn, angled out further with a furlong to run and failed to gain late. MAJORWAYHOME was void of early speed, raced five-wide through the turn and did not threaten. BYE BYE MATTY P pressed the pace of the winner while racing three-wide, was carried out by that foe nearing the three-sixteenths pole, angled in and weakened in the drive. MR GOLD MAN was void of early speed, raced three-wide through the turn and was not a factor.
