SIR SAFFER raced off the pace inside, bid three wide on the far turn, dueled in upper stretch, battled it out with ONE AMERICA in the final furlong and wore down that rival to prevail. ONE AMERICA set the pace, then vied two wide on the backside, dueled inside rivals on the far turn, dug in gamely inside in the stretch drive and yielded grudgingly. FLATTER ME was bumped at the start, stalked two wide early, then tracked the leaders, bid between rivals on the far turn and weakened in the final furlong. DEEP FAITH steadied after the start, outrun early, advanced on the far turn, came three wide into the lane and had no rally. AZTEC was bumped at the start, tracked inside, moved up on the rail to contest the pace on the backside, chased on the far turn and weakened. STILL THE ONE raced three wide early, two wide off the pace and did not factor.
