Chart notes
MURKY showed good early speed to set the early pace, dug in late and prevailed under all out pressure. SPANISH DOUBLOON prompt the early leader from the outside while racing two wide and finished gamely to the wire to just miss. CURLINS INCHARGE settled off the early going, moved up from the outside while racing widest in the stretch run and finished willingly to the wire. SAM STORMY broke sharply to the inside, raced mid pack early on, was near the inside at the quarter pole, angled out and kept on to the wire. ICONICUS rated along from the outside in the early going, raced four wide near the quarter pole and raced evenly late with no final bid. SIR veered in sharply at the start, raced off the early pace, saved ground and had no late response. TRUE PRODIGY was unhurried early on, raced five to six wide through the stretch run and lacked a rally. SUNDANCE stalked the pace from the inside and weakened a bit in the drive. RECON was rated along in the early going while racing three deep and faded the quarter of a mile. TOLLGATE CANYON dropped back off the early pace, raced six wide near the quarter pole, shifted in thereafter and never threatened. MO SNOW raced off the early pace and failed to respond. BIG POPPER was off slowly, slow to stride after the start, raced far back and was distanced.
