Chart notes
WILDCARD PRADO settled in the two path behind the field on the backstretch, was moving up throughout the far turn to rally from the four path, vied for the lead down the lane and was up in the late stretch to prevail just in time. CIELO AZUL broke outwardly at the start and bumped rival, then stalked the pace while two wide on the back stretch, gained command at the five sixteenths pole into the turn, then vied to keep the lead from the two path but gave way at the end and was second best. HOPPED UP tracked the pace from the inside into the far turn then bid in the upper stretch to vie for the lead along the rail but gave way in the end. CLOSE THE CASE tracked the pace in the middle of the field while two to three wide on the back stretch, then bid from the four path on the far turn to race even throughout the stretch drive. EL BOHEMIO set the pace along the inside on the backstretch, was challenged by an outer rival entering the far turn, was headed by that rival, then continued to bid in the upper stretch, was used up and weakened in the end. WHEREWEGOIN was bumped at the start, settled in the three path then faded steadily after the half and had no final in the home stretch.
