QUITE WHIMSICAL broke sharply, vied between rivals, bid inside at the quarter pole and drew off under mild urging. RHAPSODY IN GREY pressed the pace in the four path, bid at the three-eighths pole, pressed outside leader, closed in the stretch but was no match in the stretch. DEPUTY STAR led between rivals, was clear on the turn, then gave way at the eighth pole. CHOCOLATTI bid five wide at the quarter pole, then faltered.
