Chart notes
PROUD LION vied for the lead from along the inside with Stanley Rider, shook that one off after six furlongs and was ridden out to increase his advantage. BENNY THE JET was prominent early while racing three-wide, dropped back on the backstretch, then moved up to come four-wide into the stretch and finished well for the place. TRIBAL IMPACT settled in stride while along the inside, angled out three-wide to offer a bid nearing the quarter pole, but lacked the needed late response. STANLEY RYDER prompted Proud Lion for six furlongs while racing two-wide and weakened. UNION BLISS saved ground while being unhurried and was make up some ground late. TESLA dropped back early while racing three-wide and failed to menace.
