Chart notes
ZATTER went to the front shortly after the start, saved ground setting the pace in hand, drew off entering the stretch and won with something left. BRONY BOY was unhurried early, moved closer racing along the inside on the turn, came three-wide into the stretch looking for room, then angled back to the inside and finished fast. SIR DEPUTY saved ground while being allowed to settle in stride, moved forward on the turn, angled out nearing the three-sixteenths pole to be three-wide and finished in a mild rally. IRON ROB dropped back early, angled out six-wide for room nearing the quarter pole and failed to threaten. WARFRONT FIGHTER prompted the early pace while racing two-wide and weakened. FREESTONE was forwardly placed for a half mile to the stretch and tired.
