Chart notes
DUSALUT saved ground setting the pace, turn back a bid from El Maestro nearing the quarter and maintained a safe advantage. EL MAESTRO saved ground stalking the pace, moved up two-wide to offer a bid nearing the quarter pole, could not get by the winner, but continued on gamely for the place. MASTER RECOVERY was unhurried early, moved up two-wide on the turn, angled out three-wide during the drive and finished fast. BIG ENDEAVOR was allowed to settle in stride, moved up four-wide nearing the quarter pole to reach contention but lacked a rally. TAKE CHARGE DEPUTY dropped back while racing four-wide, came six-wide into the stretch and failed to seriously threaten in a dull effort. STONUS MAXIMUS was forwardly placed early racing along the inside and tired after a half mile.
