MERINO WOOL unhurried early, moved up on the two path through the second turn, bid outside the leader into the stretch, then drew off under mild urging. ANNIE UP BUCK rated inside, tracked the leader down the backstretch, angled out to hold position on the two path through the second turn, came three wide into the stretch, drifted in slightly and edged up for the place. TREASURE THE STORM well placed and inside, saved ground through the turn, came through inside of rivals into the stretch and flattened out, missing the place. PATSY'S BIG GIRL well placed and outside, looped up three wide through the second turn, came four wide into the stretch and weakened. BLARNEY GIRL sprinted clear rating, faded the final furlong. ALGODONAL was never involved.
