Chart notes
LIGHTNIN RUNNER eased to the outside to give chase, raced close in the three path of the turn, dug in leaving the turn and took the nod late yards. STRONG WILLED engaged in close chase, rounded the turn three wide, took the nod two deep approaching the head of the lane, was steadily encouraged leaving the turn but gave up the nod through late yards. SAIL ON BREEZE set a pressured pace, contested even terms at the rail on the turn, gave up the lead toward the head of the lane then flattened the final sixteenth. CAT WITH A NOTION chased through the backstretch, rounded the turn off the rail and showed little in the lane. PURE NONSENSE pressured the early pace inside then faded while losing ground through the turn.
