Chart notes
TIZ THE REASON broke awkwardly, contested the pace through the backstretch and took the nod past the quarter pole, dueled clear approaching the head of the lane and was steadily handled to widen. NANCYSAIDSO gave chase through the backstretch, ran in the five path of the turn, took over second mid-stretch and was gaining mildly on the winner late. DIMITRI'S ROMANCE chased through the backstretch, rounded the turn about the three path, angled to the outside past the eighth pole and came along for third the final strides. WILLOW MOON chased, raced near the rail on the turn then flattened later yards. WHYCANTTHISBELOVE chased outside, ran in the four path of the turn and showed little in the lane. DING DING contested the pace with a slim lead through the backstretch, gave up the nod past the quarter pole, dropped back at the rail approaching the top of the stretch and weakened the final furlong.
