Chart notes
WILL TAKE ROSES was away alertly to set the pace on the inside, drew off on the turn and remained well clear by the furlong marker and then was wrapped up to the wire to prove much the best. CAR LADY was settled back early, advanced three wide on the far turn, came four wide into the drive and finished well to be clearly second best. LONDONDERRY was allowed to settle three wide, then advanced two wide on the turn and came three wide into the drive, then was bumped by the three sixteenths and had no late rally, bested rest. MIKEY'S JEWEL was allowed to settle on the inside and lacked a rally. GALILEO'S AFFAIR chased the early pace on the inside, then shifted out on the turn and came four wide into the lane, tired. TALENTED TAPPER stalked the winner three to two wide and then weakened on the turn and tired in the lane. SLEEPY N JOYFUL chased the pace three wide and stopped.
