Chart notes
ORANGEBURG exchanged contact with Boo Too leaving the gate then set the early pace, was met and gave chase toward the seven sixteenths, contested at a close disadvantage near the rail on the turn, recovered the edge into the lane, dueled clear past the eighth pole and was steadily handled through the lane. NICE BUT NAUGHTY took the lead approaching the seven sixteenths pole and set a pressured pace from that point, contested the edge two deep on the turn, was met into the lane but remained a close factor to the finish. CHARTERED COURSE chased the early pace toward mid track, raced off the rail on the turn and ran evenly in the lane. READY FOR CLASS chased, rounded the turn in the three path and showed little in the lane. COOL DUDE gave chase inside, raced near the rail on the turn then weakened. BOO TOO exchanged contact with Orangeburg leaving the gate then stumbled and lost his rider on the chute. The Stewards reviewed the start of this race before posting it official.
