Chart notes
VINE JET broke outwardly at the start, rated along three wide, came four wide and in range leaving the turn, closed well on the outside and edged away late to prove best, driving. LORD WINSALOT pressed the pace two wide, then was roused by the quarter pole, made a three wide bid to gain a short lead by the sixteenth marker but was outfinished by the winner, second best. PALACE SUPERNOVA set a pressured pace on the inside, shook clear on the turn, then was two wide into the lane and faded the final furlong. EAGLES CRY was well placed along the inside and faded in the lane. TRENDING UP was allowed to settle on the inside, came five wide into the lane and had no rally. NIMITZ chased the pace three wide and weakened. PRATT failed to respond.
