Chart notes
RADIEUX was five wide into the first turn, then settled three wide, advanced on the inside on the far turn, then eased out nearing the quarter pole, then dropped back down to the inside leaving the turn, closed well up the rail on the left lead to get up under a drive. ECONOMIC POWER stalked the pace and made a two wide bid on the turn to shake clear by the quarter pole, then dug in gamely in the stretch but was caught late. AWESOME LAUNCH was allowed to settle early, made a three wide move on the turn to loom boldly but flattened out in the lane, bested rest. SPARTAK passed the tiring rivals. MINE TO HOLD chased the pace and weakened. BERMONDSEY prompted the pace three wide and tired. STAY HYDRATED set a pressured pace on the inside and gave way on the turn, eased in the lane, walked off.
