WRITTEN DANCE dueled for the lead while two wide on the backstretch, was in a long drive and drew off in upper stretch, was all out and held sway in the final strides. BOUGIE JOE was stalking the pace while inside, was steadied off heels twice then shuffled back on the far turn, rallied and slipped through the inside in upper stretch, was gaining ground and closing fast but was too late. VARSITY was unhurried early then rallied on the far turn and was four wide for the stretch drive but was no menace in late stretch. PROPELLANT dueled for the lead from the inside, was in a long drive throughout and gave way in the stretch.
