Chart notes

BLUEGRASS FAITH led the way on the inside up the backstretch, dueled from the two path around the turn and through the length of the stretch and held on to a narrow victory. TRUEZER pressed the pace on the outside up the backstretch, dueled from the three path coming around the turn, and continued to battle in the lane but could not get by the winner. SMOOTH BLUES raced in the middle of the pack on the inside through the opening quarter of a mile, saved ground around the turn and kept on to the wire. GATLING GOLD raced at the back of the pack on the outside in the early going, came around the turn in the two path and was empty in late stretch. WILEO PROCEED raced in the middle of the pack on the outside up the backstretch, navigated the turn from the three path and faded in the lane. LINCOLN COUNTY KID raced off the pace between horses in the opening stages, saved ground around the turn and made no bid. KEARNEY stumbled badly leaving the gate, recovered and was urged up the backstretch, began to drop back while racing in the two path around the turn and continued to tire from there. A STEWARDS INQUIRY WAS MADE INTO THE START OF THIS RACE. UPON REVIEW, NO CHANGES WERE MADE TO THE ORDER OF FINISH.
