Chart notes
OKLAHOMA JOE chased the leader in the eight path down the backstretch, angled inside midway on the turn, made the lead, set the balance of the pace and maintained his advantage under a hand ride. UNEEDTOCOMEHOME stalked the early pace from the nine path, advanced into the stretch and finished well clear for second in the six path. LITTLE TOY GUNS went evenly. PEDAL TO DA KETTLE trailed early then passed tiring rivals along the inside through deep stretch. SMOOCHER failed to menace. JOHN'S WILD RIVER away alertly, set the pace in the seven path into the turn, had speed into the stretch then weakened. BAILEY ROAD was no factor. JOHN PHILIP settled mid pack then lacked the needed response. CHILTEPIN close up early, was through after a half. COSI EXPRESS was outrun. NEW YORK MIRACLE was through early.
