Chart notes
HELEONORTIZ raced in the two path around the first turn, pressed the pace on the outside up the backstretch, dueled from the two path around the far turn and in upper stretch and edged clear. WASSER trailed the field from the two and three path around the first turn, began a bid approaching the half mile pole, took over the lead while racing in the three path around the second bend and drifted out significantly in the final furlong to just miss. WATER WITCH chased the leaders on the inside through the opening half mile, navigated the far turn from the three and four path, began a bid passing the quarter pole and gained ground late from there. MS BOOMBASTIC saved ground around the first turn, settled off the pace on the inside for the run up the backstretch, raced in the two path around the final turn and made no bid. LILY'S LEAD raced in the three path early, tracked the leaders on the outside up the backstretch, dropped back while racing in the two path around the far bend and flattened out in the stretch. MARACAS BAY led the way on the inside around the first turn and up the backstretch, continued to save ground around the second turn and tired in the lane.
