Chart notes
LES BON TEMPS was urged along on the inside, moved closer with five furlongs to run, raced inside to the two path around the turn, chased into upper stretch, made a bid near the eighth-pole, gained the lead outside the sixteenth-pole and proved best under strong urging. MIDTOWN LIGHTS was hustled from the start, showed speed then chased the pace, dropped back late on the backstretch, steadied while crowded between foes in the two path at the seven-sixteenths and lost position significantly, angled out later on the turn, moved to the six path outside the quarter-pole, rallied outside into upper stretch, closed well to get the lead before the furlong marker, lost the advantage to the winner outside the sixteenth-pole and was outfinished while able to get the place. LITTLE LINZEE settled off the pace, was urged along late on the backstretch, went four to five wide on the turn, rallied to make a bid outside the furlong marker, battled with the top two into the final sixteenth and was out-kicked while clear for the show. DREAM ON CARA was urged along towards the rear, went three wide around the turn, chased into upper stretch under a drive and weakened. SWEET LIBERTY settled just off the pace on the outside, advanced to make a bid leaving the backstretch, vied in the five the six path early on the turn, bore out nine wide late on that bend, continued to get out coming to the quarter-pole, turned into the stretch in near the fourteen path and weakened. FORCES SWEETHEART was hustled from the gate, contested the pace towards the inside, vied along the rail on the turn, turned into upper stretch under a drive, dropped back into the final furlong and tired. CLOVER STREET settled at the rear, steadied off heels leaving the backstretch, saved ground on the turn and failed to threaten. FEMA FUNDS showed speed then tracked the pace on the outside, made a bid leaving the backstretch, vied in the four path around the turn, dropped back in upper stretch and capitulated. CENTRAL SPEED showed speed then disputed the pace, vied in the three path while between foes from the seven-sixteenths to near the five-sixteenths then dropped back and had nothing left. SMALL PEBBLES was hustled from the start, moved up to contest the pace, dropped back near the half-mile pole, fell to the rear early on the turn and faltered then was eased in the stretch but walked off.
