ROME dueled early, shook clear on the turn, drifted out in the stretch under right handed urging and prevailed STEINBECK was never far back early, rallied in the stretch and closed willingly to be gaining late. T MONEY stumbled at the start, was never far back, rallied four wide and finished willingly. ATOMIC TONE was well placed early, was bumped at the five pole on the inside and went evenly late. GOOD IDEA allowed to settle early, swung five wide and was no threat late. ALFIE SOLOMONS dueled early and was through after a half. The stewards posted the inquiry sign but took no action.
