Chart notes
SPICE ICE was unhurried early, rallied in the stretch, angled out five wide, closed determinedly and was up in the final strides. CUE THE BAND had good position early, rallied at the quarter pole, drew clear in mid stretch and was caught near the wire. MARGARITA CINCO raced mid pack early, rallied on the inside and finished well to be best of the rest. BAY MAGIC contended throughout three wide and wen evenly late. STORM OF NINETEEN set the pace for a half, then gradually weakened. LADY ABRIL was allowed to settle, early swung six wide in the stretch and was no threat late. EXACTITUDE raced mid pack and was no menace. COSTUME JEWELRY saved ground and was outrun. BUSYBEING FABULOUS flashed brief foot, and was through early.
