Chart notes
HAPPY SOPHIA brushed with a foe at the start while off a bit slow, was hard held while tugging at the bit, traveled around the turn in the two path, was asked near the five-sixteenths, rallied in upper stretch, closed well to get the lead outside the sixteenth-pole then moved clear under steady urging. VALLELUJAH settled on the outside, ranged up early on the turn then was asked four wide, gained to make a bid into upper stretch, led into the final furlong but was overtaken while clear for the place. RIBOT'S VALENTINE tracked the leading duo on the outside, was asked three wide on the turn, chased four wide into the stretch then moved out while dropping back around the three-sixteenths and weakened but was clear for the show. CARAMOCHA brushed with a rival while off slow, spotted the front a few lengths, was urged alon on the outside, went four wide on the turn and lacked the needed response. SPIN A YARN disputed the pace on the outside, moved clear leaving the backstretch, went around the turn in the two path, was asked three wide into the stretch, lost the lead to the runner-up outside the furlong marker and tired. PATRIA contested the pace on the inside, dropped back leaving the backstretch and stopped.
