Chart notes
SEE SPOT RUN closest to the leader while off the inside, advanced on that one and took over midway on the final turn, showed the way into the lane, dueled final furlong, dug in late to narrowly prevail. MYSTIFIER settled off the pace while racing toward the inside, continued to save some ground into the far turn, ranged up outside to challenge the winner into the lane, dueled the final furlong, outfinished, remained clear for the place. KISS PRINCIPAL off a step slow, raced back, moved out and was four wide through the second turn, rallied mildly to be along for the show, not a threat to the top two. JACKS FIRE BALLS void of early foot, began to advance in some traffic second turn, continued to advance to the wire, not enough late for the show. SKYLINE broke alertly, set the pace along the inside, continued to show the way while rating in the run up the backstretch, gave way readily when headed by the winner in the far turn, continued to weaken through the lane. RCAPTIVATING broke out and slowly, trailed for five furlongs, came four wide for the drive and improved by passing mostly tiring rivals. BACKGATE RED in mid pack inside, continued to save ground second turn, lacked a response when called on for the drive. BILLY YANK in mid pack while racing outside, dropped to the inside for the second turn, faded through the lane. MORNING DRIVE gave way in the second turn on the outside, fell well back.
