Chart notes
SOUTH AL SPARKY raced in the middle of the pack down the backstretch, made a rail bid on the final turn then moved out to three wide in upper stretch and gave a late surge to prevail. CALLEN FEELS GOOD settled in the middle of the pack around the first turn then moved up on the backstretch, went four wide into upper stretch but didn't have enough. CATINANDSCATIN set the pace from the inside from under pressure to the three eighths pole then drew clear to mid stretch and tired. BIG SESSY raced near the back down the backstretch then made a bid on the turn and into the stretch but was too late. DARK MATTER was allowed to settle around the first turn and down the backstretch then made a three wide bid on the final turn to improve position. PRODUCTION TIME tracked the leader to the top of the stretch but lacked a later response. SASSI ASPEN was unhurried and remained back. COTTONCLUB SOLDIER was rushed up to press the pace to the three eighths pole and stopped.
