SIBELIUS dueled on the inside up the backstretch, continued to battle from the two path around the turn and dug in in the lane to pull clear at the wire. DOCTOR OSCAR dueled on the outside up the backstretch, battled from the three path around the bend and continued gamely in the lane, losing contact with the winner in the final sixteenth of a mile. GATSBY chased the leader on the outside through the opening quarter of a mile, challenged from the four path coming around the turn and kept on to the finish. ABSOLUTE GRIT hit the gate and brushed with the horse to his outside at the break, settled in the middle of the pack for the run up the backstretch, navigated the bend from the four path and improved position in the lane. PACO'S PICO raced in tight quarters early, moved inside to settle off the pace for the run up the backstretch, saved ground around the turn and improved position mildly in the lane while never threatening. WHERE PARADISE LAY raced at the back of the pack through the opening stages, came around the turn in the two path and passed tiring horses in the lane while never threatening. WILLY BOI raced in the middle of the pack on the inside up the backstretch, saved ground around the bend and weakened between horses in the stretch.
