JULIA SHINING raced in the four path around the first bend, settled in the middle of the pack on the outside for the run up the backstretch, continued around the far turn still in the four path, began a bid passing the quarter pole, improved position in upper stretch and was outfinished late. OPUS FORTY TWO raced into traffic and steadied in the two path going around the first turn, found racing room and tracked the leader on the outside up the backstretch, challenged from the two path racing around the far bend and weakened in the lane. CHARLIE'S WISH saved ground around the first turn, trailed the field up the backstretch, improved position while racing in the three path around the far turn and continued to gain ground mildly in the lane while never threatening.
