Chart notes
LANGS DAY was allowed to settle around the first turn then made a steady gain down the backstretch, made a three or four wide bid on the turn and moved out farther in the stretch to run down the leader to be just up. SLIM MAN was last away while breaking to the outside, then was hustled along going three or four wide around the first turn, vied for the lead down the backstretch and took the lead at the quarter pole but was collared in the final yards. SAMMY DANSEUR JR. had good early speed while being under pressure to the final turn then was headed at the quarter pole but was a game third. RELENTLESS DANCER saved ground through the final turn then moved out to two or three wide in upper stretch while racing evenly. X CLOWN pressed the pace from the inside around the first turn then steadily faded. EXTIRPATOR raced in the middle of the pack around the first turn then vied for the lead from between horses to the three eighths pole and gave way.
