Chart notes
MEANT FOR ME tracked the leader down the backstretch moved to engage at the three sixteenths pole, battled down the stretch and won the nod. FLASH OF GENIUS went to the front to set the pace, was headed at the three sixteenths pole and dueled down the stretch but was out nodded. DARE TO FAIL saved ground while racing in the middle of the pack and was best of the rest. VIKING LEGACY raced near the back down the backstretch made a three wide bid on the turn to improve position. THEO D'OR bobbled after the start, raced in the middle of the pack to the final turn then made a mild bid and hung. UNCLE BRAD was within striking distance from the three path down the backstretch but gave way on the turn. COUNTRY BRAVE was never close.
