Chart notes
PISTOL POWER was away in good order to duel for the lead from the inside, opened a clear margin with a quarter to run and drew off as a handy winner. ITS FIVE SOMEWHERE was off a step slow, raced unhurried early, moved six-wide through the second turn ,could not gain on the winner in the drive but was clearly second best. PASSED BY PAUL was reserved just off the leaders early, moved five-wide through the second turn and finished evenly late. BLUE AZUL disputed the pace while racing four-wide and gave way through the final furlong. TELLER raced off the pacesetters early, saved ground through the second turn and weakened. BOURBON TAN disputed the pace while racing three-wide, weakened after going a half and was eased.
