Chart notes
PURE ROCKET tracked the leaders from the inside, moved up to engage nearing the three-sixteenths marker, vied with GOLD RUSH CANDY through the prolonged drive and proved best. GOLD RUSH CANDY sprinted clear at once, raced three-wide while setting the pace, responded when challenged by the winner into the lane, vied and just missed. WIND RIVER was reserved just off the leaders early, moved three-wide through the turn, angled out further into the stretch and finished with good energy. RENEW raced off the pacesetters early, moved four-wide through the turn and finished evenly. PARTYOFSIXTEEN lacked early foot, raced off the rail through the turn and did not threaten. UNSTOPPABLE ME was squeezed back at the start, raced unhurried early, moved three-wide through the turn, angled out nearing the quarter and did not menace. SANSOME showed brief speed and weakened.
