Chart notes
JAZZ HANDS was away in good order to duel for the lead with POVERTY BAY while racing three-wide, opened a clear margin into the lane and held that rival and held sway to the wire. POVERTY BAY broke sharply to dispute the pace with the winner from the inside and gave way to that rival in the drive. SMILING GOODBYE chased the leaders while racing four-wide and failed to gain in the drive. STAND TO was off a step slow, lacked early foot, raced six-wide through the turn and did not offer a bid. RONAMO showed no early speed, saved ground through the turn and was not a factor. ROCKYMOUNTAINTWIST settled off the leaders early, moved five-wide through the turn and weakened. SILVERBULLITBADGER lacked early foot, raced five-wide through the turn and did not offer a bid.
