Chart notes
FRISCO KID dueled for the lead from the inside with KAI'S STATEMENT, disposed of that rival after going a half, opened a clear lead with a quarter to run and drew off through the lane with complete authority. NAVY PIER lagged early, raced three-wide through the turn, angled in with a furlong to run and was up for the place. KEENEYE GEORGE broke sharply then raced raced just off the leaders early, moved five-wide through the turn, reached a contending position but failed to gain late. BALI STAR lacked early foot, raced four-wide through the turn, angled out further into the lane and finished with some late run. SILENT DECLARATION chased the leaders from the inside, angled out into the lane, drifted out in mid-stretch to bump rival and gave way. KAI'S STATEMENT disputed the pace with the winner while racing three-wide, was bumped by SILENT DECLARATION in mid-stretch while retreating and continued to give way. IMISSBAYMEADOWS raced off the pacesetters early, moved four-wide through the turn and weakened. THE STEWARDS CONDUCTED AN INQUIRY CONCERNING THE BUMPING OF KAI'S STATEMENT IN MID-STRETCH AND AFTER REVIEWING THE FILMS CONCLUDED THAT SILENT DECLARATION HAD DRIFTED IN TO BUMP THAT RIVAL AND WAS DISQUALIFIED FROM FIFTH AND PLACED SIXTH. PER THE ARIZONA RACING COMMISSION, FRISCO KID HAS BEEN DQ'D DUE TO A POSITIVE TEST.
