Chart notes
SEVEN POINTS stalked the leaders while racing four-wide, moved up to take command with a furlong to run and drew clear. CANTERBURY GOLD was away in good order to duel for the lead with EARLYNTHEMORN from the inside, opened a clear margin nearing the three-eighths marker but could not match strides with the winner through the final furlong. STREAMER settled off the leader early, raced off the rail through the turn and finished evenly late. PIPER ROSE bobbled at the start, lacked early foot, raced four-wide through the second turn and did not menace. EARLYNTHEMORN disputed the pace while racing three-wide and weakened after going five furlongs. FUN PADDY was pulled up after the opening quarter and vanned off. THE RACE WAS HAND TIMED.
